I'm a teacher

This year mark my seventh year as a teacher... wow, what an accomplishment. I pat my back because it wasn't an easy seven years. It was difficult, challenging , nerve wracking, tearing, sweating but fun. It was a learning process and I think I will continue to be a teacher for years to come.

Unlike other job, I think because I do not have so many experience with other jobs, teaching is ..... well, I cannot describe the job in a word, but maybe a paragraph. So here it goes...

Teaching deals with people, kids, parents, administrators, society, the demand and government aspirations. It is not static. It will be keep on changing and adding or maybe subtracting. But, it requires heart because it is human that the teacher need to deal with. Teachers also have heart, so what about their hearts? Then, it about sacrifices because I do not know other places, but at times teachers do need to sacrifice and maybe that's why there is this saying that teacher is like a candle, burning own self, to brighten the others.

But I like teaching. I hope I can be a great teacher for years to come.
